Senior Sales Manager

The Role


In this role you will be responsible for helping scale our business and sales model while building a team of mid-market account executives. The Senior Sales Manager will be focused on driving new business from prospecting and inbound leads. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of exceeding quotas, understand multiple approaches to selling and possess strong analytical and communication skills. 


You will also be a hands-on coach, sitting in on customer meetings and calls, and delivering on-going coaching in both group and individual settings. You will develop and maintain a team-oriented culture with a focus on performance, professionalism and phenomenal customer service.

  • Drive a high volume of sales through managing the complete sales process from prospecting to close.

  • Develop sales presentations to demonstrate audience’s value proposition.

  • Cultivate business development skills as needed to negotiate deals, close business, and increase sales.

  • Effectively manage your sales pipeline and develop a strategy for long-term sustained success.

  • Manage the growing of a team of Sales Executives

  • Recruit and hire talent regularly

  • Meet and exceed team quotas

  • Track team and individual performance and activity metrics

  • Innovate and continuously improve the sales process

  • Deliver on-going coaching, both in group and individual settings

  • Help win deals as needed

  • Help establish ongoing training modules for existing and new sales people

  • Develop and maintain a team-focused culture focused on performance, professionalism and delivery of phenomenal client service


Required Qualifications

  • 4+ years of sales experience

  • 1+ years of management experience

  • Strong leadership and management experience

  • A successful track record of meeting sales goals

  • Strong decision-making skills and independent judgment

  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills

  • Experience in online advertising or market research sales a plus

  • Strong background in marketing technology and/or solution sales

  • Experience in CRM systems
