The Role:


In this position, the Store Manager will be responsible for and assisting the farm in scaling our business/sales model for the store.  This position will be responsible for building a team of retail associates to support the store’s daily functions.  This includes interviewing, hiring, managing, training, and providing sales support to retail associate(s).  


The Store Manager will also be focused on driving new business from surrounding local businesses and attracting new customers through networking and social media.  


The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of retail sales, understanding multiple approaches to selling, strong analytical and communication skills, and provide excellent customer service.  

This  position will also develop and maintain a team-oriented culture while educating and supporting retail associates in naturally grown organic produce, best practices, store procedures, and customer service.

  • Drive increasing sales through managing our produce retail store

  • Solicit additional business from local businesses and new customers weekly

  • Analyze cost efficiencies in inventory orders to farm, versus sales success in item sales

  • Resolve customer escalations, provide customer service support to retail team

  • Recruit and hire talent regularly

  • Meet and exceed team sales quotas

  • Track team and individual sales performance

  • Provide regular reporting of sales numbers to Farm Manager

  • Deliver on-going coaching, both in team and individual settings

  • Help establish ongoing training modules for existing and new sales people

  • Develop and maintain a team-focused culture based on performance, professionalism, and delivery of phenomenal client service

  • Ensure team provides the best customer service possible to customers

  • Maintaining store to offer customers the cleanest, organized, welcoming, and most well-stocked shopping experience possible

  • Hiring, training, and developing employees to their fullest potential

  • Maximizing sales and profits by using proven marketing and merchandising strategies


Required Qualifications:


  • At least  4+ years of sales experience

  • 1+ years of management experience

  • Strong leadership and management experience

  • A successful track record of meeting sales goals

  • Strong decision-making skills and independent judgment

  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills

  • Experience in online advertising or market research sales a plus

  • Strong background in marketing technology and/or solution sales

  • Experience in CRM systems
